Community Involvement - Social Responsibility
As a part of our responsibility to our environment, Forte Fitness follows green practices wherever possible. Additionally, we ensure that our suppliers can follow those same practices. As leaders and parents, the health and well being of our children has always been an integral part of how we operate our business.
Furthermore, we have a responsibility to our clients to operate with environmentally friendly practices and finding ways to give back to our local and global community.
We believe that investing in these practices will ensure the success of our organization and make a lasting impact on the communities we work with.
Re-Fit Program
Forte Fitness follows and encourages our clients to partner with us in our Re-Fit Program. On behalf of our clients, we will donate used commercial fitness equipment to non-for-profit community facilities. We can donate equipment from high use applications, into smaller lower use, non-for-profit community facilities, where the lifespan will be extended in that application. Reuse of commercial fitness equipment eliminates waste and allows us to contribute to wellness programs in community centres that have a limited budget.
Such recipients of this program are schools, outpatient care centres, after school programs and other charitable organizations that may not have the budget to create a fitness centre. Feel free let us know of any organizations that could use some help in this way.
Equipment Consignment
Forte Fitness has another solution to help our commercial clients with their old equipment. We offer a consignment trade in program. Forte sends bi-monthly mailers to a large number of centres, from condos, schools, corporate wellness, private fitness, recreation and university clients. Within that mailer we include a link to the used/gently used equipment available to purchase.
